Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as an Electrical Design Manager - Electrical (Solar) at V-TECH Renewables located in Pune. The role involves tasks related to electrical design, engineering services, and power distribution for solar projects. Responsibilities Carryout solar Generation estimation, Shadow analysis, Plant layout designing, pitch analysis, PV system analysis. Equipment Sizing and make specifications for String, Inverter selection, cable sizing, fuse selection, earthing system design, designing of cable route, cable trench & equipment layout, IDT, 33 kV & 11 kV Bay design, CT/PT selection, VCB selection, designing of Plant Protection system. Shall be responsible for preparation of DPR, Bill of Material, costing sheet of SPV system. Ensure compliances of IEC, BIS and IS standards for solar system and conduct Site and factory acceptance testing. Responsible for the smooth & efficient working of the Design & Engineering department. Interact with customer /consultants for any queries, presentations, clarifications & approval of designs. Attend & participate in customer/ consultant/ designer meetings whenever required. Coordinate with internal functions like Business Development, Projects, and SCM for all technical specifications & queries, BoQ, drawings, etc. Review & regularize technical deviations, design change request as raised by contractors / vendors/ consultants throughout project phases. Build & maintain document library & database for all designs, drawings, and project wise technical data. Familiarity with IEC & IS codes & practices for designing Electrical & Civil Mounting Structures. Responsible for Timely execution of all design work. Show more Show less
