ACCOUNT ASSISTANT JD

1.Process payments and documents such as invoices, journal vouchers, employee reimbursements, and statements

2. Enter, update, and/or retrieve accounting data from automated systems

3. Determine content and assemble data in order to prepare monthly reports for review

4. Establish and revise work methods, forms, formats, and standards to improve operating efficiency

5. File and/or remove records and reports.

6. Assist in the timely closing of monthly account by ensuring cash management, Accounts payable and General Ledger data is up to date.

7. Respond to accounting, budget or financial queries regarding data from staff in the field site primarily.

8. Prepare bank reconciliations and conduct analysis of general ledger accounts.

9. Monitor vendor advances and other receivables and ensure timely clearance of vendor outstanding items, taking corrective follow up actions where required.

10. Review payroll journals for accuracy and prepare related payroll accounting entries.

11. Provide assistance to all staff services related finance.

12. Preparation of Financial report .

13. Collection of the fees and making the entries in all the sections, issuing receipts and maintaining all documents concerning the same.

14.Being the process owner for the above.

15.Maintaining Petty Cash, keeping section wise track of the petty cash, making all cash payments and the like.

16. Bank Work.
