Job Title: Assembly Head Location: Ludhiana, Punjab Salary: Up to ₹1,00,000 per month (CTC) Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering / Auto Components / Machinery Experience Required: 8–15 years Reporting To: Plant Head / Operations Manager Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assembly Head to oversee the complete assembly operations at our Ludhiana facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflows, quality control, cost-effective production, and adherence to safety standards. This role involves managing assembly line teams, improving productivity, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage end-to-end assembly operations of machinery/auto components/products. Lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and assembly workers. Ensure production targets are met with high quality and within timelines. Monitor and optimize assembly line efficiency, reducing downtime and bottlenecks. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices (Kaizen, 5S, TPM). Collaborate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments. Maintain inventory control of tools, fixtures, and assembly materials. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards. Train and upskill team members regularly. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for senior management. Key Requirements: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 8 years of experience in assembly operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and lean practices. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, BOMs, and work instructions. Hands-on experience in manpower planning and shift handling. Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Excellent team leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
