Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as ILE COBOL ILE CL database DB2
• Knowledge of iSeries APIs Data queues User queues multithreading Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc
• Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus
• Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis
• Estimate and Monitor Estimates
• Work with Business teams to prioritize work
• Prepare detailed design documentation
• Reporting and tracking of assignments
• Fix high priority issues
  

Required Skills Experience

• Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
• iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as AS400 ILE COBOL ILE CL C database DB2
• COBOL400 COBOL ILE
• SQL400 Query400 Strong working knowledge in DB2400
• ILE Concepts
• Display Files Sub Files Printer Files
• Embedded SQL
• Knowledge of iSeries APIs Data queues User queues multithreading Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc
• Working on production support is an added advantage for this role
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial serviceslending domain
• Knowledge of AgileScrum and traditional SDLC methodologies
• Exposure to modernization tools or microservices even at concept level
