Position: AI Intern (Full-time Paid Internship) Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India, Onsite Compensation: Stipend of ₹10,000 per month Duration: 6 months About sftwtrs.ai sftwtrs.ai is an AI research lab at the forefront of security automation and adversarial machine learning. Under the guidance of our Founder & Principal Scientist, we collaborate with enterprise partners to design, train, and deploy scalable AI solutions. Role Overview As an AI Intern you will work closely with our Principal Scientist and research engineers to support ongoing projects in data preprocessing, model development, evaluation, and documentation. This hands-on role is ideal for someone looking to bridge academic concepts with real-world AI research and deployment. Key Responsibilities Data Handling & Preparation Collect, clean, and annotate datasets for supervised and unsupervised learning Implement feature extraction and preprocessing pipelines in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn) Model Development & Experimentation Assist in designing and training ML and deep-learning models (TensorFlow, PyTorch) Run experiments, track hyperparameters, and analyze performance metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, F1, AUC) Research & Literature Survey Conduct literature reviews on recent papers in adversarial ML, anomaly detection, or related domains Summarize findings and propose improvements to existing lab projects Documentation & Reporting Maintain clear, organized lab notebooks and code repositories (Git, GitHub) Prepare weekly progress reports and contribute to internal presentations General Lab Support Assist with setting up development environments, managing GPUs/compute resources, and ensuring lab safety compliance Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, SecOps, Data Engineering) on integration tasks Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related field Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with ML libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch Basic understanding of ML concepts (supervised, unsupervised learning; neural networks) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team Prior research experience or coursework in AI/ML is a plus What You’ll Gain Mentorship: Direct guidance from our Founder & Principal Scientist Real-world Impact: Contribute to enterprise-grade AI projects with production-ready pipelines Professional Growth: Build your portfolio with tangible research outputs and code contributions Networking: Connect with industry partners, attend internal tech talks, and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions Show more Show less
