Job Summary : We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art and Craft Teacher for Grade 1 who can nurture young learners artistic skills and creativity. The teacher will plan and implement engaging art and craft lessons in alignment with the curriculum, encouraging expression, experimentation, and fun through various mediums. Key Responsibilities : Plan and deliver age-appropriate art and craft activities tailored for Grade 1 students. Develop creative projects using a range of materials (paper, fabric, clay, paint, recycled materials, etc.). Foster a fun, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage creativity, fine motor development, and art appreciation in young learners. Assess and document student progress through portfolios, exhibitions, or classroom displays. Organize and participate in school events, exhibitions, and competitions. Maintain a safe and clean classroom with proper storage of art materials. Collaborate with grade-level teachers and the curriculum team for integrated lessons. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and projects. Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required. Qualifications and Skills : Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field (Diploma in Art & Craft may be considered with relevant experience). Prior experience teaching art and craft to young children (preferred). Strong understanding of child development, especially in early years. Creative, patient, and energetic personality. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time and classroom dynamics effectively.
