Internal Sales / Telesales Executive – Job DescriptionPosition Overview The Internal Sales / Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales leads, nurturing customer relationships, and closing sales through phone-based interactions. This role involves managing inbound/outbound calls, identifying business opportunities, and providing excellent customer service to achieve sales targets. Key ResponsibilitiesSales Activities Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products/services. Handle inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities. Qualify leads, understand customer needs, and propose suitable solutions. Prepare and send quotations, follow up on proposals, and close sales. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-up. Manage customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and timely responses. Address customer questions, concerns, and objections professionally. Update customer records and interactions in the CRM system. Coordination & Support Coordinate with external/field sales teams to support complex sales opportunities. Work closely with operations/logistics to ensure timely order processing and delivery. Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, lead generation, and promotions. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management. Administrative Duties Process orders, invoices, and sales documentation accurately. Maintain price lists, product information, and customer databases. Follow internal procedures and compliance guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field (preferred). 3–4 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, or customer service. Excellent communication and telephone etiquette skills. Confident, persuasive, and goal-driven personality. Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
