Role & responsibilities Area Store Manager Job Description An Area Store Manager in the apparel industry is responsible for overseeing the sales, operations and performance of multiple retail stores within a designated geographic area, ensuring consistent sales targets are met, maintaining high customer service standards, managing staff, and implementing company policies across all stores under their jurisdiction, while focusing on maximizing profitability and brand image within their region. Job Responsibilities:- Sales Performance: Setting and achieving sales targets for each store within their area. Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Implementing strategies to boost sales and maximize profitability. Staff Management: Recruiting, hiring, and training new store managers for each location. Providing ongoing coaching and development to store staff to enhance performance. Evaluating employee performance and addressing any issues. Managing staff schedules and labor costs. Operational Oversight: Ensuring consistent visual merchandising standards across all stores. Monitoring inventory levels and managing stock rotation to minimize loss. Overseeing store operations, including cash handling, security, and compliance with company policies. Identifying and resolving operational issues within stores. Customer Service: Setting and maintaining high customer service standards across all locations. Addressing customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction. Monitoring customer feedback and implementing necessary changes. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborating with the marketing team to execute local marketing initiatives Implementing promotional strategies to drive traffic and sales within their area Financial Management: Analysing financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and profit optimization. Managing budgets for each store within their area. Preferred candidate profile - Job Specification Job Requirement / Skills Any Graduate. MBA - Marketing will be preferred. Proven experience in retail management, preferably within the apparel industry. Strong leadership and team building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical skills to interpret sales data and make informed decisions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
