Job Description: Responsibilities: Achieve sales and collection targets. Assist in planning and execution of sales & marketing functions in the respective region through various channels (direct or through channel partners). Develop a strong customer base to drive business growth and help build long-term business strategy in the responsible area. Achieve sales volumes, price, market share, and segment volumes in accordance with an agreed marketing plan. Manage and supervise the sales team in the territory to achieve sales objectives and implement the sales strategy. Involve in all business-related issues impacting profitability, costs, and customer service. Create budget & forecast and analyze actual performance against these plans. Deliver top line and bottom line as per the annual business plan. Develop the annual business plan for profitable growth and spearhead its execution in the assigned region. Track information related to competitors' activities, industry analysis, customer expectations, and marketing trends for continuous improvement. Monitor product prices and update customers. Track monthly schedule vs. sales plan. Ensure collections are made within due dates and minimize outstanding amounts. Implement business strategies of business units in the region to achieve individual business objectives, working closely with respective regional heads. Identify and develop new customers/markets for profitable growth. Act as the primary company representative for the Engineering Polymers business and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders. Understand customer needs and respond effectively to ensure high customer satisfaction levels. Keep track of competition and prices. Ensure timely delivery of material at customer end through close interaction with the logistics team. Ensure proper accounts reconciliation timely/as required. Assist in preparation of department MIS and analyze various MIS reports on orders generation, order processing, sales analyses, etc. Visit customers regularly; frequent touring is mandatory. Adopt and follow quality systems as per ISO-TS:16949/ISO-14001/OHSAS-18001 standards. Keep customers informed about new products developed and future product development plans. Organize sales promotional activities such as tech shows, technical seminars, demonstrations, exhibitions, new product launches, etc. Qualifications: Must have an engineering degree/science degree in Polymers/Plastics technology/engineering from a reputed college/institute/CIPET. An additional MBA (marketing) degree will be an advantage. Preferred candidates with experience in engineering polymers sales (like PC, compounded PC grades/various EP alloys). Experience in the electrical and automotive industry will be an advantage. Must have 9-12 years of experience in sales & marketing of polymer/engineering polymers. Competences: team player, disciplined, analytical-minded, strong customer relationship, good networking & PR in the market, good communication skills (written and verbal English communication).
