Area Sales Manager, Solar Vertical

Job Description

Job brief We're seeking an experienced Solar Sales Representative to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, preferably in the solar industry, with experience working with residential and commercial customers, as well as integrators/dealers. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our solar energy solutions, conducting site surveys, and negotiating deals to meet and exceed sales targets. Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, such as cold calls, door-to-door marketing, data base referring and networking events. Conduct site surveys to assess the feasibility of solar energy solutions for potential clients, providing customized recommendations and proposals. Build and maintain strong relationships with residential and commercial customers, integrators/dealers, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. Staying updated & Reporting to management on competitor activities/pricing and strategies Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documents to management. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets set by Solar Business Unit Requirements and skills 7-8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the solar industry, with a proven track record of success. Experience working with residential and commercial customers, as well as integrators/dealers Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or engineering.
