Area Sales Manager

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within a specific geographical area in the textile sector. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve area sales targets. - Managing and expanding distributor and dealer networks within the assigned territory. - Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities. - Conducting regular market visits to support channel partners and ensure brand visibility. - Ensuring timely collections and managing credit as per company policy. - Training and motivating channel sales staff and promoting a high-performance culture. - Providing accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management. - Coordinating with marketing, supply chain, and production teams for seamless execution. - Attending trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events as required. Your key skills and competencies should include a strong knowledge of textile products and sales channels, a proven track record in achieving sales targets, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree with an MBA/PGDM being a plus. Preferred background includes experience in the textiles industry and familiarity with B2B or institutional sales, depending on the product segment. This is a full-time job with benefits such as health insurance, provident fund, a performance bonus, and a yearly bonus.
