Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Products: Industrial Bearings – Ball / Roller / Pillow Block

Location: Gurugram

Education:

  • B-Tech Mechanical or a related Engineering field.

2. Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience as area manager in the industrial, agriculture, or automotive sectors, with a focus on Bearings and power transmission products.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share in a area manager role.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and expand market share.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.

  • Prepare annual sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.

2. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial, agriculture, and automotive sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and partners.

3. Team Management:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.

  • Provide training, coaching, and support to sales representatives to enhance their performance.

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.

4. Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition.

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform sales strategies and tactics.

  • Identify potential risks and opportunities in the market.

5. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.

  • Develop and execute customer engagement initiatives to enhance loyalty.

6. Product Knowledge and Training:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product range of Bearings products.

  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions for customers and sales team members.

  • Stay updated on product developments and technological advancements.

7. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports, including sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
