Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans and territory action plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Latur area. Identify new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and drive aggressive market penetration initiatives. Conduct regular market analysis, including competitor activities, customer preferences, and local market trends, to adapt sales strategies effectively. Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of Sales Executives. Set clear individual and team sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development for team members. Foster a positive, competitive, and results-oriented sales culture within the team. Ensure the team's adherence to company sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Target Achievement & Performance Management: Take overall responsibility for achieving the sales revenue, volume, and market share targets for the assigned Latur territory. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, analyze variances against targets, and implement immediate corrective actions. Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent progress towards closure. Customer Relationship Management: Oversee key client accounts within the territory, ensuring strong relationships are built and maintained. Resolve escalated client issues and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. May personally engage in negotiations for large or strategic deals. Operational Excellence & Reporting: Optimize sales processes and workflows to enhance team productivity and efficiency. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts by the sales team using CRM systems. Manage the sales budget for the area and control expenses effectively. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate effectively with other departments such as Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction. Communicate clearly, persuasively, and effectively with team members, senior management, channel partners, and clients. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is crucial for engaging with the local market, understanding regional nuances, and leading a local team effectively. Excellent English proficiency is essential for formal reporting, strategic discussions with senior management, and broader professional communication.
