Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales growth, manage distributor networks, and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Gujarat region. The ASM will play a critical role in implementing sales strategies, achieving targets, and enhancing market share for our FMCG products. Base Location: Ahmedabad Key Responsibilities:Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales growth to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the designated area.Distributor & Retailer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers. Monitor their performance and provide necessary support for sales improvement.Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and customers to expand market reach.Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and achieve KPIs.Promotional Activities: Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches in alignment with company strategies.Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor sales performance through regular reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights for strategy improvement.Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure timely availability of products in the market by coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams. Key Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or any related field (MBA preferred).Experience: 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.Attributes: Result-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to dynamic market conditions.
