Job Description for AREA SALES MANAGER About the Role: In this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Sales Representatives to achieve ambitious sales targets designated territory. You will be a strategic thinker, combining your strong sales acumen with exceptional leadership skills to drive brand awareness, build strong customer relationships, and develop effective business development strategies. Responsibilities: Team Management & Development: Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Sales Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for your team members. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve assigned sales targets for your territory. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our market share within the terrritory Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and wholesalers. Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations to secure new accounts and increase sales volume with existing customers. Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Brand Management: Implement brand-building initiatives within your territory to increase brand awareness and product visibility. Ensure effective product merchandising and promotional activities are implemented at retail outlets. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute local marketing campaigns for territoty. Qualifications: Bachelors / master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) Minimum 15 years of experience in an fmcg & sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Experience in the Foods & industry a plus.
