Designation - Area Sales Manager - Channel Sales Job Summary/Objective: The Area Sales Manager - Channel Sales will be responsible for driving sales through channel partners, expanding distribution networks, and achieving revenue targets. The role involves managing existing channel relationships, identifying new partners, and implementing sales strategies to strengthen TVS Electronics' market presence. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage channel sales partners to achieve sales targets. - Identify and onboard new distributors, dealers, and resellers. - Ensure strong partner engagement and drive business growth through them. - Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities. - Implement effective go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns. - Coordinate with marketing and product teams to suppor t channel growth. - Provide sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to management. - Ensure high levels of partner satisfaction through continuous engagement. - Conduct regular market visits and drive demand generation activities. Required Qualifications: Experience: 5-8 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in IT hardware, electronics, or related industries. Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred. Skills and Competencies: - Proven experience in channel sales management. - Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. - Ability to develop and execute channel sales strategies. - Excellent market analysis and business development capabilities. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Self-driven with a target-oriented approach.
