Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and manage sales operations in Rajasthan . The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the distributor/dealer network, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring effective execution of marketing strategies at the ground level. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets. Appoint, manage, and motivate a network of distributors and channel partners across Rajasthan. Monitor primary and secondary sales and ensure stock availability at all points. Conduct regular market visits to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Train, manage, and support a team of Sales Officers / Sales Executives. Implement marketing and promotional campaigns in coordination with the central marketing team. Ensure timely collections and credit management in coordination with distributors. Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis. Work closely with supply chain/logistics teams to ensure efficient distribution. Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational standards. Key Requirements Experience: 5–8 years of FMCG/Consumer Goods sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team-leading capacity. Education: Graduate (preferably in Business/Marketing); MBA is a plus. Location Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Rajasthan market, including rural and urban sales channels. Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools. Ability to work independently and travel extensively across Rajasthan. Preferred Qualities Prior experience in F&B or packaged food sales. A proven track record in launching new products or expanding into new territories. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer-first approach.
