Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Reise Moto. In this role, you will drive process excellence within our distributor model, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations. An Area Sales Manager for two-wheeler tyres in India is responsible for achieving sales targets in an assigned territory by developing and executing sales strategies, managing a network of dealers and distributors, and leading a sales team. Key duties include driving both primary and secondary sales, monitoring market trends, maintaining customer relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring strong brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Target Achievement

  • Drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

2. Dealer & Distributor Management

  • Appoint, manage, and support a network of dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Provide training and guidance to channel sales staff.

3. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement effective sales plans, promotional campaigns, and strategies for new business development.

4. Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, train, and guide a team of sales representatives to achieve performance goals.

5. Market Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, collect competitor insights, and provide market intelligence to management for strategic decisions.

6. Customer Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and end-customers through regular market visits.

7. Order & Inventory Management

  • Ensure timely processing of orders, manage distributor inventory, and oversee the supply chain to ensure seamless operations.

8. Brand & Product Promotion

  • Enhance product visibility, execute point-of-sale (POS) strategies, and organize customer awareness programs.

9. Reporting

  • Prepare and present sales reports, track performance, and provide accurate forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tyre or automotive product sales, preferably with a strong regional network.

Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Team leadership and motivation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial and inventory management.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
