Job Description

Role Purpose: To drive profitable growth within the Crucible segment and deliver targeted sales, gross margins, trade debtor by contributing to and leading the implementation of the Value selling. The segment is a mix of Indirect and Direct mainly served through Indirect Channel and the region covered is: Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, entire South and also pune is their Role and Responsibilities Ensure exponential and sustainable growth of sales for Crucibles segment (South). Drive profitable sales growth within the Crucible segment and deliver targeted sales, gross margins, trade debtors. (Accountable for ensuring that the Sales, Collection and DSO targets are met and exceeded.) Identify opportunities through sales leads and new market developments for rapid and sustainable growth in Crucibles segment. Maintain relationships with current clients and Indirect Channel Partners and identify new prospects within the region. Analyze industry trends, competitor landscape, and customer needs to develop aggressive strategic sales plans for Crucibles. Proactively develop techno-commercial programs and schemes for aggressive customer acquisition. Explore potential market gaps to be acquired by Vesuvius so as to grow rapidly and follow them through to a concrete top line development. Provide valuable market insights and feedback to facilitate informed product development and marketing strategies. Collaborate with indirect channel partners to identify and ensure that market and product gaps are met and fulfilled promptly. Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on corporate and local competitors. Identify the needs for stakeholder educations and engagements and lead the events with the help of SM Crucibles and BM. Participate proactively in the companys Safety, health and Environmental policies and systems. Internal customers Head – NFF, Solution Manager (Crucibles), Area Managers and Business Managers, Supply Chain External customers Indirect Channel Partners, Direct Customers Report to (position title): Business Manager, NFF, South Matrix report to (position title): - Specific Experience / Qualifications required: Graduate Engineering, preferred PG in Sales/Mktg. At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Selling Industrial consumables or Business Development (Experience of Selling crucibles is preferred)
