Job Description

Area Manager - Farma Funding (FF)

Job Purpose:

Business Development
Responsible for driving business numbers and targets for the area
Scope the market, customers and understand trends / needs in Agri Value Chains for the assigned area.
Develop Customer Acquisition strategy and penetration strategy in focus Agri Value Chains in specified area.
Own the Customer relationships on FF activities; enable desired support to Line Teams / Corporates to get FF penetration on mandates, activation & FF Assets.
Drive the teams of Business Development Managers for Business Goals and Objectives
Meeting and servicing corporate, Agri value chain clients
Manage portfolio of the area.

Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Develop rapport with internal Wholesale banking teams for proper scoping of Value chain and priority sector potential of the Corporates
Develop know how on Agri Value Chain by interacting with leading Industry players like Corporate and Associations
Team management
Monitoring team performance & guiding them for meeting productivity norms
Training of BDM & SO

Graduation (preferably Agri Business):
Post-Graduation (preferably Agri Business)

Sales and Influencing Skills
Banking Product & Process Knowledge
Agri Business and Supply Chain Knowledge

Minimum experience in years 8- 10 yrs
Exposure to banking / financial industry (with Corporate background) is preferable
