Area Head

Role & responsibilities

The Area Head will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing collection efficiency, and managing a team of field executives across assigned locations. The role requires strong leadership, excellent market understanding, and the ability to guide and motivate a team to achieve sales and collection targets while maintaining portfolio quality.

Preferred candidate profile

Sales Management

• Drive business acquisition for assigned products (Loans/Microfinance/Consumer Finance/Two-Wheeler Loans/Home Loans etc.).
  
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective planning and market initiatives.
  
• Identify potential markets, customer segments, and channel partners to expand business opportunities.
  
• Monitor lead conversion, track performance, and ensure adherence to processes and compliance guidelines.
  

2. Collections Management

• Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy portfolio quality.
  
• Monitor bucket-wise performance, especially early buckets, and take corrective actions.
  
• Guide the team in resolving delinquent cases and reduce NPAs and overdue percentages.
  
• Coordinate with collection agencies (if applicable) to improve recovery efficiency.
  

3. Team Leadership & People Management

• Manage and supervise a team of more than 3 field executives (Sales/Collections).
  
• Assign targets, track daily activities, and ensure productivity of all team members.
  
• Conduct regular team meetings, field visits, and performance reviews.
  
• Provide training, mentoring, and support to enhance team capability and effectiveness.
  

4. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal departments such as Credit, Operations, Risk, and HR for seamless functioning.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with channel partners, dealers, and customers.
  
• Support the management in planning and executing strategic initiatives for business growth.
