Area Head - Purchase: CMR Green TechnologiesLimited formerly known as Century Metal Recycling Limited is Indiaslargest producer of Aluminium and Zinc die-casting alloys with a combinedannual capacity of over approx. 4, 18, 000 MT per annum. Since its inception in2006, it has maintained its fast-paced growth by leveraging latest technologyand continuous improvement. CMR, which recycles aluminium scrap to make alloy, has 28-30 percent market share in India and is nearly three timeslarger than its nearest competitor. We are having strong presence at PAN Indialevel (North, West & South) with 13 manufacturing units, 5000 strongworkforce and supplies to major automotive industry in India including tier oneOEMs like Maruti Suzuki , Honda Cars, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp and RoyalEnfield Motors. Position: Area Head-Stores and Purchase Band: B Designation: Dy.Manager /Manager/ Sr. Manager Department: Stores andPurchase Reporting to: GeneralManager Qualification: Essential Professional degree / B.E/B. Tech / Diploma Desired- Degree / Diploma or MBA In Material Management Experience: Minimum 7 to 14 years of experiencein Purchase/SCM with Complete MM module knowledge. Job Description: Implementation of processes, policies, andStandard Operating Procedures in procurement function across plants/PAN India. Working experience in sourcing/procurement formanufacturing/recycling industry for project related items like MRO, CapitalEquipment, Machineries, Utility Spares etc. Project procurement forElectrical/Mechanical/Genera l Items Etc throughtendering/comparison/neg otiation etc. Review shortages of materials and ensure actionsteps for fulfilment of shortages. Procure Pay cycle ofconsumables/oils/lubricants/M RO SPARES/RAW MATERIALS. Must have knowledge of dealer/Distributornetwork of bearings/electrical items/mech items/v-belts pulleys/ PAN Indiabasis of OEM`S Generate MRP report, work closely with ProjectDesign and Execution team to plan material requirement, external secondaryprocesses, dispatch planning on Daily, Weekly & Monthly basis in accordancewith Project Timeline. Generate timely PR & PO for approval. Ensureall direct & indirect material supply on-time with the right quantity tosupport production within monthly budget. Indent related activities like monthly planning & scheduling. Segregating indents, which are received from the differentdepartments in respect of capital Indent / Revenue item indent. Establish a vendor base that qualifies withquality expectations, delivery on-time with reasonably competitive prices.Monthly review & tracking of vendor performances. Source & audit newsuppliers for continuous improvement. Implement cost reduction programs to meet KPItargets. Regular review within Materials Dept. to identify cost reduction areasto take continuous improvement action. Establish contractual Purchase agreement withkey suppliers align with customers contractual obligations. Carry out monthly stock take with 100% stockaccuracy. Ensure timely update of ERP transactions. Monthly stock turns mustmeet KPI targets. Take regular review & action on slow or non-moving items.To submit on time monthly Inventory report details to Accounts with properverification of RM, WIP, FG month end stock status. Ensure all logistics, transportation, import orexport shipment & excise documents are complying to statutory requirements.There must be no demurrage charge or custom holding for any imports due tocompliance matters. Ensure safety compliances in accordance tocompany's policy at all levels within Materials Dept. & suppliers Supplier scorecard maintenance and evaluation. Cost analysis and comparison sheet of varioussuppliers. New supplier development for proprietary itemsand regular items. Timely availability of stores items, spares & raw materials, by efficiently coordinating & planning with thepurchase team.
