Architectural Draughtsman

Role Overview: As an Architectural Drafter, your main responsibility will be to prepare detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of 3D views, layouts, and material details as necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD. - Convert sketches and conceptual designs into accurate working drawings. - Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams for technical details and revisions. - Ensure all drawings comply with architectural standards, codes, and client requirements. - Prepare presentation drawings and as-built drawings when needed. - Maintain drawing records, revisions, and version control. - Assist in creating 3D views, layouts, and material details if requested. - Support the design team in preparing municipal submission drawings and construction documentation. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit / SketchUp / Photoshop is advantageous. - Strong understanding of architectural detailing and building design principles. - Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. - Good coordination and communication skills. - Attention to accuracy and detail in drawing work. Additional Details: The company is looking for individuals with a Diploma in Architecture or Civil Engineering and experience in residential, commercial, or institutional building projects.
