Architect, Enterprise Data Delivery

As a Solution Architect at Ralph Lauren Corporation, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions covering Data Engineering, Data Quality, and Solution Architecture. Your responsibilities will include delivering robust, scalable, and secure data solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture principles. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Architect, platform teams, and business stakeholders to create integrated solutions throughout the data lifecycle. Role Overview: - Design end-to-end data solutions for ingestion, transformation, storage, and delivery in both cloud and on-premises environments. - Architect solutions utilizing modern data platforms like Databricks, Delta Lake, and Prophecy. - Define scalable patterns for data pipelines, APIs, and data access. - Ensure that solution designs adhere to enterprise standards for security, compliance, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate data quality frameworks and governance practices into solution architectures. - Implement automated data validation and monitoring using tools such as SODA Cloud. - Establish metadata management, cataloging, and data lineage practices through platforms like Atlan. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or governance roles, with at least 2 years as a solution architect. - Proficiency in Spark, SQL, Python, and/or Scala. - Strong experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and data orchestration frameworks. - Hands-on expertise with data quality tools (SODA Cloud) and metadata/catalog platforms (Atlan). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Additionally, you will have the opportunity to: - Design and oversee CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks. - Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to streamline release processes and ensure stability. - Work closely with data engineers, data stewards, analysts, and application teams to align technical solutions with business needs. - Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in data engineering and governance. Preferred qualifications include certifications in cloud platforms or data architecture, experience in agile environments and DevOps practices, and knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential soft skills for this role.,
