ArcGIS Developer

As a GIS Developer working for a major Insurance client, your role will involve designing a robust GIS Analysis framework to meet business demands, framing technical project requirements, managing and transforming data, and serving as a subject matter expert for geo-spatial mapping, GIS, spatial data, data quality, and testing. You will engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies such as SQL, MS Excel, and will be proficient in developing features and functions through Arc Objects. Key Responsibilities: - Source data from multiple sources, clean and maintain spatial/geographic datasets in ArcGIS - Develop interactive maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial information - Perform trends analysis and spatial analysis using GIS tools - Develop and maintain GIS databases, metadata, and documentation - Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility through database administration Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of experience in a similar role - Go-getter attitude and a high degree of ownership skills - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems/Geospatial Engineering/Geoinformatics - Strong understanding of GIS fundamentals - Experience in geo-spatial mapping - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Additional Company Details (if available): Experience in insurance sector is preferred but not mandatory.
