Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager – Wind, located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of wind energy projects. Key tasks include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and liaising with stakeholders. The Project Manager will also be responsible for risk management, project documentation, and reporting. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of utility-scale wind projects across multiple sites. Oversee complete project life cycle — including engineering review, procurement coordination, site construction, erection, testing, and commissioning. Manage development and implementation of electrical infrastructure, up to 33 kV transmission lines, and evacuation systems. Review technical documents, SLDs, layouts, and equipment specifications ensuring compliance with SECI/PGCIL/CEA standards. Liaise with cross-functional teams (civil, electrical, logistics, QA/QC, safety) to achieve project milestones. Drive vendor and contractor management including evaluation, contract execution, and performance monitoring. Track project progress using appropriate tools and report deviations against baseline schedules. Ensure adherence to HSE norms, grid code requirements, and statutory regulations. Manage stakeholder coordination including clients, consultants, government agencies, and internal leadership. Prepare and submit project documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings for final approvals. Proven experience in delivering wind projects exceeding 600 MW capacity, preferably up to 1 GW . Qualifications & Experience: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical from a recognized institution (Mandatory). 10–15 years of relevant experience in execution and delivery of large-scale wind energy projects. Hands-on experience with reputed renewable energy developers or EPC firms managing 600 MW–1 GW projects. Exposure to both onshore and hybrid wind project models preferred.
