Role & responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Apps DBA to manage and optimize the database infrastructure for our Appian applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, with a focus on supporting Appians data layer and integrations. Linux Must Key Responsibilities: Manage, maintain, and optimize databases supporting Appian applications. Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes are in place. Support Appian integrations with external databases and enterprise systems. Work closely with Appian developers to optimize database queries and indexing strategies. Implement best practices for database design, partitioning, and scalability. Monitor database health, perform capacity planning, and ensure high availability. Assist in database migrations, upgrades, and patch management. Provide support for production incidents related to database performance and connectivity. Document database configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
