Apprentice Leader Power BI Developer

You will be joining one of the largest data science companies as an Apprentice Leader (AL) with a focus on Power BI and the Microsoft ecosystem. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the digital transformation program for a leading retail CPG customer. Your responsibilities will extend beyond dashboard development as you lead client engagements, brainstorm solutions for complex supply chain issues, and craft analytics solutions that drive tangible business outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead problem-solving discussions with business stakeholders to translate supply chain challenges into analytical use cases - Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, data models, and simulations for decision-making (forecasting, scenario modeling, what-if analysis) - Utilize Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Engineering, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics) to unify data and create scalable enterprise solutions - Establish and oversee Power BI Deployment Pipelines for smooth release management across dev, test, and production environments - Integrate Power BI with Power Apps and Power Automate to deliver comprehensive workflows - Implement row-level security, governance, and performance tuning for enterprise-grade BI environments - Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to optimize ETL pipelines, data refreshes, and integrations (SQL, APIs, Azure services) - Drive self-service BI adoption, provide training, and ensure governance for business users - Document and standardize dashboards, models, and processes to facilitate scalability and knowledge transfer **Required Skills & Experience:** - 6-10 years of experience in Power BI development and BI consulting, preferably in Retail/CPG supply chain - Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), advanced data modeling, and performance optimization - Strong background in supply chain analytics use cases such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and logistics performance - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Deployment Pipelines, Power Apps, and Power Automate - Proficient in SQL, ETL processes, and Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Databricks) - Ability to design and implement self-service BI frameworks with emphasis on governance and scalability - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of translating data into actionable business insights **Preferred Qualifications:** - BE/B.
