Work Location: Bengaluru (Last date to apply is 20th April 2025) Note: Shortlisted candidates will receive an interview invitation letter from recruiting team Whar role you will play in team The role of Buyer to Analyze and process purchase requisitions for spot PO, re-bid, commitment extension and cancellation, generating savings. Key interfaces Procurement Personnel Other R2O incl. Requisitioning, Buying, Receiving, Agreement Support, Payables Payables and Payment Solutions Vendor Onboarding Engagement Organization incl. Business Interface Data and Analytics, AVI Business Lines and Representatives Controls and Contract Compliance Team External Supplier What you will do Issue enabling or spot contracts for various equipment, commodities, or services required by business lines, ensuring timely delivery and competitive terms through strategic negotiation. Identify, evaluate and source suppliers, manage ongoing supplier relationships to drive projects and achieve global requirements. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to ensure the best value. Own commercial actions (bids, auctions, renewals, amendments, etc.) with a focus on total system cost. Conduct market intelligence and analyze expenditure patterns to identify opportunities for consolidation, supplier base rationalization, demand management, and alternative analysis. Ensure key deliverables are completed timely and properly (KPI targets, daily productivity, SLA, etc.). Proactively communicate and collaborate within the projects organization, functions (legal, controllers, etc.), and procurement category families to maximize commercial outcomes. Analyze and manage costs to ensure procurement activities are within budget, conduct price reasonableness checks for cost competitiveness. Handle terms and conditions with negotiations, coordinate among business lines and functional experts on various purchase order issues to ensure timely receipt of goods and services. Ensure all work associated with the development and management of orders is in compliance with applicable laws and established controls. Look for process improvements to enhance deliverables, Improve the recycling of purchase orders. Ensure all documents and exhibits are complete and included in the final contract, with all functional reviews and management approvals completed/obtained as required. About you Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Equivalent related stream or Non engineers with good contracting/buying/sourcing experience Minimum 1 yers exp in Buying Good and effective communication(both written and oral) with interpersonal skills Controls mindset by having attention to details Service excellence, high commitment, and accountability Strong collaboration and team player Adaptability, fast learner, and willing to learn Strong problem solving and analytical skills Focus on customers Self-driven, organized, and be able to prioritize and work independently Courage, ability influence without authority and advocating a business position Preferred Qualifications/ Experience Show initiatives Proficient in Microsoft Offices (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of Requisitioning to Pay (RtP) process and ERP system Background in business-related fields.
