Application Support Manager

Role Overview: As a member of the SS&C team, you will be overseeing day-to-day production support operations to ensure timely and effective resolution of incidents and service requests. You will also be responsible for managing service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Additionally, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to address, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues. Your role will involve leading and managing a team of IT support professionals, monitoring incident and problem management processes, and driving root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues. Furthermore, you will be involved in planning, communicating, and executing changes to the IT environment with minimal impact on production services. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day production support operations for timely incident and service request resolution - Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure compliance with contractual obligations - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex technical issues - Lead and manage a team of IT support professionals, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management - Monitor incident and problem management processes to minimize downtime and impact on business operations - Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent issue recurrence - Plan, communicate, and execute changes to the IT environment with minimal impact on production services Qualifications Required: - IT degree or equivalent experience - 10+ years of experience in an Application Support role - Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods - Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies - Experience with ITIL based processes - Understanding of hosting production environments on AWS and Virtual Environments - Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery build pipelines - Experience with infrastructure as code - Passion for automating manual processes - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Flexible to work in shifts Note: Unless explicitly requested or approached by SS&C Technologies, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies, the company will not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.,
