About this Position We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead – Application Engineering to drive and manage all Application Engineering (AE) activities within the assigned region or territory. This role is a key customer-facing position, responsible for supporting application development, providing technical solutions, and executing engineering projects aligned with both current and future business opportunities. What You´ll Do Responsible for supporting the installation, validation and optimization of equipment used in manufacturing or testing processes. This role acts as a bridge between engineering design, and end-use application, working closely with customers, PD, production, and application engineering to ensure equipment meets operational requirements and performance standards. Drives success of local SBU ACE projects technically, implement customer roadmaps and conduct plant audits/line surveys to increase ACE Growth impact pipeline. Responsible for lunch of new product, customized products applications, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers. Support Sales team in building value proposition. Validation of products at laboratory, simulating line conditions to ensure right first-time product launch. Responsible for Application Engineering laboratory setup, equipment procurement, application standardization, implement regional / local best practice to meet customer and market needs / expectations. Provide inputs to PD regarding application / processing equipment and collaborate on new product development and testing. Work closely with Sales, PD, product management, Quality and other departments to ensure successful application deployment and user satisfaction. Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams. Ensures compliance with all Henkel and regulatory requirements (safety, legal, environment), and relevant industry/customer specifications Responsible for products application / technical training and coaching of field sales forces and customers Promote internally SBU innovations and best learnings cross accounts What makes you a good fit Should possess B.Tech / B.E. - Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field). Minimum 7 years of Application Work experience Strong understanding of automation systems, robotics, instrumentation, and process control. Knowledge of PLC programming, motion control systems, or embedded systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel as needed for customer support or equipment installations. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
