Application Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Install, configure, test, and support software applications for clients, both on premise and remotely. Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on application usage. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues and escalate complex problems to development teams when necessary. Collaborate with the product and QA teams to improve application performance and customer experience. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and support materials. Conduct product demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and assist sales/pre-sales teams in technical discussions. Understand customer requirements and customize applications or solutions accordingly. Participate in system integration, API-level troubleshooting, and third-party software coordination. Monitor and ensure application uptime, performance, and responsiveness. Maintain strong client relationships through timely and effective communication. Preferred candidate profile If the candidate is from near the office then he will be given preference. Experience with REST APIs, integration tools, or middleware. Prior work experience in a software product company or system integrator. Knowledge of industry-specific protocols and standards (e.g., ONVIF for CCTV, SNMP for networking). Diploma holders electrical, mechanical 1 year or fresher also. 10 diploma in mechanical and time diploma in electrical. Required Skills: 13 years of experience as an Application Engineer or similar technical role. Strong knowledge of software installation, configuration, and maintenance. Good understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking basics, and database management. Familiarity with scripting or basic programming (Python, Shell, SQL, etc.) is a plus. Experience in client interaction and technical troubleshooting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
