Application Engineer

1. Technical Support

1. Identify tools and tackles required for demos and commissioning as per request, and maintain proper records.
2. Ensure timely responses ideally immediate, and not exceeding 48 hours for standard queries — with zero errors.
3. Provide technical support for BOM generation for the Hydraulic Sales Team.
4. Offer technical support to internal teams.
5. Assist the Sales/Marketing team for technical events, exhibitions, and related activities as required.
6. Maintain case history documents and update PEG files every fourth night.
7. Maintain demo case history documents and update demo files and demo reports every weekend.

2. Demonstration / Commissioning / Site Visits

1. Conduct site visits for application studies, demos, or commissioning as required by the Sales Team.
2. Perform testing, trials, and PDI of new products, supporting the Service, Sales, and Design teams as needed.
3. Conduct site visits for technical support on ongoing cases involving post-delivery technical issues.
4. Carry out application studies, data collection, BOM preparation, competitor activity review, report collection, customer training, and demos as required by customers.

3. Trainings, Presentations, and Webinars

1. Conduct internal product and technical training for new joiners, followed by practical demos (Sales and Rental Operations Team).
2. Conduct internal product and technical training for new technologies launched by ABS or principal brands.
3. Perform ground research for technical documentation and competitor analysis.

4. Testing, Trials, and Other Activities

1. Perform testing of RAD products and HF for new development, as well as testing of new products as required.
2. Handle miscellaneous technical activities as assigned.

SPECIFICATIONS

(Educational Qualification / Experience / Skills)

• B.E. Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–3 years of relevant experience
• 60% travel requirement
