Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: The person should be interested to take up responsibility on self, be an active participant, and be able to communicate technical concepts & solutions clearly & concisely. Excellent problem-solving skills with a developer-at-heart demeanour; passion for rapid prototyping. Willingness to incorporate in different ERV application database design. Analysis, consulting, and implementation of functional and technical requirements, this includes new requirements or further developments of existing topics/systems, while identifying potential for improve-ment in technologies and processes and initiating appropriate measures Support the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements to operation in a team of internal and external software engineers. Own development of solutions, applications and services based on customer and internal requirements, including testing, documentation, and prototype development. Assume technical responsibility for work packages and applications. Should be able to ensure scalability, performance and security in solutions, applications, and services, with a particular focus on monitoring and performance indicators for stabilization. Take appropriate steps in analysing and resolving errors as part of incident and problem management. Key Competencies & Skills required Technical Skills: Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements. Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies. Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative. Ability to interact with SMEs and other project team members in an agile environment. Technical implementation of the requirements. Leading the teams to build up a culture of Unit Testing and Documentation. Should have the expertise in tech skills as much needed in the team and be able to pick up skills easily for future initiatives. The candidate must be skilled in the technical stack as below: a) Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) b) Oracle Business Integrator (OBI) c) Oracle PL/SQL Should have the below tool skills, a) Jira b) Confluence c) Git Behavioral Skills: Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills relevant to the role. Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to changing requirements. Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options Ability to direct and guide teams as relevant Previous Experience & Qualifications Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science /Engineering/Information Technology Candidate with non-computer science degree must have minimum 1 year of relevant experience MBA in IT / Insurance/Finance can also apply for Requirements Engineer and Test Engineer role. Certification if any: NA Years Experience & Knowledge: Completed university or technical college studies in computer science or a technical field or comparable education/training with several years of professional experience. Proficient in the English language. German language is a plus. Excellent business communication skills, written and verbal. Team player Insurance domain background is a plus
