Your Role And Responsibilities

As an Application Architect Connected Solutions & IoT, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, and leading the development of secure, scalable, and intelligent connected ecosystems that bridge devices, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end IoT and connected application solutions, covering edge devices, communication protocols, data ingestion layers, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
• Develop and govern back-end architectures and microservices, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability.
• Design and manage API frameworks and integrations between IoT platforms, enterprise systems, and third-party applications, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define system requirements, data models, and technology stacks that support connected services and digital transformation goals.
• Evaluate and select cloud, database, and middleware technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and scalability requirements.
• Implement best practices for data management, including SQL and NoSQL database design, data streaming, and data lifecycle governance.
• Embed security principles across all layers of the solution from device authentication and encryption to API and data access control.
• Lead architectural reviews, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and technology assessments to validate design decisions and recommend optimizations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and DevOps practices.
• Monitor emerging technologies in IoT, edge computing, and AI/ML to continuously evolve connected solutions and recommend innovative approaches.
• Engage with stakeholders and clients to articulate architecture strategies, present technical roadmaps, and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
