Beckhoff implements open automation systems using proven PC-based control technology. The main areas that the product range covers are industrial PCs, I/O and fieldbus components, drive technology, automation software, control cabinet-free automation, and hardware for machine vision. We are actively expanding our team in Hosur and are looking for a suitable on-site application and sales engineer. Responsibilities develop machine programs according to customer specifications. offer standard and custom training to support Beckhoff products and projects documentation and recording of all project activity represent the organization in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner maintain a high degree of technical knowledge as required to fulfill the task remit evaluate territory performance and identify new business opportunities develop sales with OEM and end user customer accounts using appropriate product solutions successfully build relationships with current customer base and provide necessary sales support prepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines while using sound business judgment advise customers on the proper selection, use, and maintenance of specific technology applications, and recommend training opportunities offered by Beckhoff educate new and existing customers on Beckhoff technology follow up on all marketing leads and provide feedback plan promotional events, presentations, and special projects, as assigned by the manager work with regional and corporate resources to develop and close on opportunities Qualifications B.E./B.Tech. (E&TC, electronics, instrumentation, mechatronics) 2 to 5 years of experience understanding of PLCs, motion, drives, industrial PCs, distributed I/O, and HMI technology experience with IEC 61131-3 programming languages, including object oriented extensions experience with Windows, Windows Networking, and Microsoft Office applications a highly motivated self-starter with good organizational skills ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and work across a range of sectors a team player mentality that can also work independently ability to lift and transport demo equipment and hardware strong analytical and reasoning skills to collaborate in a fast-paced, action-oriented team previous technical training and/or Beckhoff Automation programming experience strong interpersonal, listening, questioning, presentation, and communication skills (written and oral) Benefits an exciting role in an international environment with the technology leader in automation a future-proof job with an economically sound global player all the benefits of an owner-managed family company an open and family-oriented corporate culture room for personal expansion and professional development Show more Show less
