Description
The CSD AppDev Developer role requires a well-organized, action-oriented team player with exceptional time management and strong written and oral communication skills to drive deliverables to resolution in a fast-paced environment. As an AppDev Developer, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring our releases meet requirements. The candidate will engage in all aspects of product delivery from requirements gathering through implementation and knowledge transfers. The role requires excellent collaboration with team members, other IT organizations, key stakeholders and business partners to meet the needs of the business as well as that of the end users. As a developer, you will be part of a global team that builds and supports tools to improve the client experience. From within the team, you will work using the Agile model, in a cooperative and innovative environment, interfacing with global teams. In this role: Youll work in a dynamic, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for our highly valued clients. Youll create products that provide a great user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability. Design and code services, integrations and automation for applications and databases that are reusable, scalable and meet critical architecture goals. Create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that are clean, well-documented, and easy to use. Design, code and support technologies that inject AI features utilizing watsonx offerings. Problem Determination and troubleshooting ETL and data integrity issues. Provide technical direction, guidance and assistance during project development. Assist in maintaining data integrity and quality control for delivered reports and data analysis. Ongoing support of operational and project-related reports, scripts, and data analysis. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Experience in designing and developing backend development with Go, Python, Java, or Javascript Experience with Relational Databases (IBM DB2, Oracle) as well as NoSQL (MongoDB, Postgres) Have knowledge in AI/ML Fundamentals Experience with GitHub Good verbal and written English with strong collaboration, analytical and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of business analytics Preferred technical and professional experience Experience developing enterprise scale Business Intelligence tools Neural networks and transformers models as applied to NLP Classical NLP Prompt Engineering Large Language Models, training validation, testing and deployment
