Job Title: API automation - REST-Assured Position: API automation - REST-Assured Experience: 7 to 10 Years Job Location: Bangalore & Chennai Shift Timings: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 Days WFO) Position ID: J0525-0386 Must Have Skills: to 8 years of hands-on REST Assured API Automation experience Hands-on experience on Rest Assured -Mocking / Services to 5 years of experience in Banking domain Hands-on experience UI Automation BBD Cucumber, Java, Selenium Hands-on SQL experience in data validation & verification using SQL Hands-on experience JIRA JTMF Your future duties and responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured for functional, regression, and API testing. Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data in collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders. Integrate test automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.). Perform end-to-end testing of web applications and REST APIs, ensuring high-quality releases. Troubleshoot issues with test scripts and the applications being tested. Perform performance testing for API services using Rest Assured and other performance testing tools. Document test results, log defects, and follow through on issue resolution with development teams. Ensure the automation test scripts follow coding standards and best practices. Work closely with developers to design, develop, and execute the automated tests in parallel with development work. Continuously identify and implement improvements to testing processes and frameworks. Participate in Agile development sprints, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
