Role Summary The IT Executive will be responsible for managing all IT infrastructure, user access controls, data security, and system compliance activities across all office and warehouse locations in India. The role includes supporting employee onboarding/offboarding, ensuring system integrity, maintaining information security, coordinating with vendors, and supporting operational automation (such as macros and workflow tools). The position requires flexibility to travel to various branches based on project and operational needs. Key Responsibilities 1. Employee Onboarding Configure and issue IT assets, systems, and accessories. Create and issue user logins and email IDs. Set up system access, including Apex and other internal applications. Conduct IT orientation and security training for new employees. 2. Employee Relieving / Termination Reset login passwords and deactivate Windows IDs. Delete user accounts (email, ERP, application access). Perform data backups (as advised by HOD) and hand over securely. Update IT asset inventory and ensure return of all company IT assets. Modify FTP access credentials and delete associated data folders. 3. General IT Operations & Security Management Manage role-based access control and maintain firewall configurations. Perform routine system and software upgrades in coordination with Corporate IT. Maintain comprehensive IT asset inventory — acquisition, registration, and fault logs. Ensure data backups and maintain recovery logs. Oversee secure data transfer (email encryption etc.). Implement and enforce security policies: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Password Policy Enforcement Inactive/terminated account management Access review and permission audits Ensure secure disposal of IT components and maintain certificates of destruction. 4. Supplier and Vendor Coordination Maintain contracts and SLAs with IT and security vendors. Record change requests, approvals, and communication logs. Monitor data backups and recovery plans. Maintain supplier monitoring and logging reports. 5. Business Continuity & Incident Response Maintain incident response contact lists and records of past incidents. Document corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Participate in management review meetings and ensure follow-up on action items. 6. IT Audit & Compliance Support and participate in internal, external, and client IT/security audits. Ensure compliance with corporate IT and data security standards. 7. Physical & Infrastructure Security Monitor fire protection systems, UPS status, and power usage. Conduct periodic inspections and maintain CAPA records. Ensure that safety and security standards are maintained across all locations. 8. Automation & Support Development Coordinate with the Support Ticket team to develop small automation projects (e.g., Excel macros, workflow monitors, reporting dashboards). Contribute to improving operational efficiency and system-based workflows. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related discipline. 3–5 years of experience in IT administration, infrastructure management, or system support. Strong understanding of network configuration, firewall management, and endpoint security. Experience with ERP, email servers, and Windows administration preferred. Skills & Attributes Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities. Excellent coordination and communication skills. Ability to work independently and travel across multiple locations. Proactive approach toward security, compliance, and process improvement.
