Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design processes for web and mobile applications from research and wire framing to high-fidelity UI and prototyping. Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA (or higher) and ADA compliance standards, incorporating accessibility best practices throughout the design lifecycle. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions. Conduct user research, usability testing, and accessibility audits to validate and refine design decisions. Required Skills and Qualifications 6-8 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for digital products. Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in accessible design and compliance with WCAG and ADA guidelines. Proficiency with leading design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. In-depth understanding of responsive design, interaction design, and user-centered methodologies. Experience conducting accessibility evaluations using tools like axe, WAVE, NVDA, or JAWS. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks to communicate effectively with developers. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Certification in Accessibility (CPACC, WAS, or equivalent) is a plus. Experience working in enterprise or government environments with accessibility mandates.
