As a Test Engineer at Wipro Limited, your role is crucial in preparing test cases and conducting testing of products/platforms/solutions to be deployed at client ends, ensuring they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be instrumental in understanding test requirements, designing test cases, and implementing Wipro's way of testing using model-based testing. Your responsibilities also include peer-reviewing test cases, collaborating with the development team, automating the test lifecycle process, and reporting test progress effectively. - Understand the test requirements and design test cases for the product - Author test planning based on business requirements and testable requirements - Implement Wipro's testing methodology using Model based testing - Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases - Set criteria, parameters, scope/out-scope of testing, and involve in UAT - Automate the test lifecycle process through vb macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. - Design and execute the automation framework and reporting - Develop and automate tests for software validation - Ensure test defects are raised as per defined norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns - Detect bug issues, prepare defect reports, and report test progress - Design and release test status dashboard at the end of every test execution cycle - Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, trace the result to quality risk, and report to stakeholders - Maintain good quality interaction with customers regarding testing and its execution - Deliver on-time reports, updates, and responses to customer requests - Proven experience in preparing test cases and conducting testing - Strong knowledge of test planning, test design, and automation - Proficiency in VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Excellent communication skills for reporting and customer interactions - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance parameters and SLA compliance,
