As an Android Kotlin Developer in the Automotive Domain, you will play a key role in shaping the future of in-vehicle technology. You will be joining a team dedicated to developing cutting-edge Android Automotive OS (AAOS) solutions for next-generation infotainment systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain Android Automotive applications and frameworks using Kotlin. - Customize and extend AAOS frameworks to meet specific automotive requirements. - Integrate Android APIs and services to deliver seamless in-car experiences. - Build intuitive UIs and components (experience with Jetpack Compose preferred). - Optimize app performance for embedded systems, focusing on memory and CPU efficiency. - Debug and troubleshoot application and framework-level issues in the AAOS environment. - Collaborate with UX/UI, architecture, and product teams to align on functionality and user experience goals. - Implement unit and UI testing using frameworks like JUnit and Espresso. - Ensure code quality and compliance with automotive standards (A-SPICE, MISRA). - Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies for continuous improvement. **Qualifications:** - Strong hands-on experience in Android development using Kotlin. - Deep understanding of Android frameworks and AAOS architecture. - Experience in automotive infotainment or embedded systems development. - Proficiency in UI development (experience with Jetpack Compose is a plus). - Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet. - Experience with JUnit, Espresso, and performance tuning. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience customizing Android Open Source Project (AOSP). - Knowledge of automotive development standards (SAFe, A-SPICE). - Experience with Car System UI, Car Launcher, HVAC, Media, Car Service modules. - Proficiency with Git, Jira, Confluence, and modern CI/CD tools.
