Analytics Consultant II ( BIRT )

Job Description

As an Analytics Consultant II, you will also be responsible for developing custom analytics solutions and reports to specifications provided, and for supporting the solutions once delivered. You must be able to effectively communicate ideas both verbally and in writing at all levels in the organization, from executive staff to technical resources. This role requires close collaboration with Program/Project Managers, Management Consultants, and other Analytics Consultants to deliver solutions based on defined design requirements and ensure they meet scope and customer expectations. Flexibility is required to work in shifts to support our global customer base. Responsibilities Interact with business and technical project stakeholders to gather business requirements for analytics solutions. As an individual contributor, develop and deliver best practice visualizations and dashboards using BIRT Desktop, IBM Cognos , or similar tools. Put together a comprehensive test plan, validate the deployed solution, and document the results. Provide support during production cutover, and after go-live, act as the first level of support for any requests from the customer or other Consultants. Analyze customer data to spot trends and issues, and effectively present the results back to the customer. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience designing, delivering, and supporting Business Intelligence reports and dashboards is required. Must have hands-on experience with at least one data visualization tool such as BIRT Desktop (preferred), IBM Cognos, Power BI, Tableau , etc. Good understanding of SQL is required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Prior customer-facing experience strongly preferred. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly is required. Flexibility to support customers in different time zones is required. Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or any other Cloud is preferred, but not required
