Role & responsibilities Role Overview We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst/Senior Analyst Market Intelligence & Targeting to identify, research, and maintain a pipeline of potential clients for Zinnov’s GCC setup services. This role involves tracking industry signals, analyzing financial and strategic shifts in companies, and supporting business development (BD) efforts through targeted intelligence. Key Responsibilities Market Intelligence & Target Database Management Conduct extensive research to identify companies exploring GCC setups, focusing on financially struggling firms, industry trends, and online signals. Maintain and continuously update a structured database of potential target companies and their key decision-makers. Monitor and track mergers & acquisitions (M&A) activity, cost-cutting trends, and leadership changes to uncover GCC opportunities. Lead Identification & Targeting Identify warm leads by analyzing Zinnov’s existing network and mapping company connections. Develop company-specific insights to support BD teams in outreach and client engagement. Work closely with internal stakeholders to validate and prioritize potential targets. Stakeholder Analysis & Engagement Mapping Identify and analyze key decision-makers (CXOs, HR/Finance leaders, PE firms, etc.) who influence GCC setup decisions. Track and profile private equity firms that own portfolio companies with high GCC potential. Maintain intelligence on market movers, leadership transitions, and strategic priorities of key stakeholders. Business Development Support Develop custom company profiles, opportunity briefs, and competitive intelligence reports to support BD efforts. Collaborate with BD and sales teams to refine targeting strategies and improve outreach effectiveness. Monitor and analyze competitors’ activities in the GCC setup space to refine Zinnov’s positioning. Preferred candidate profile Key Qualifications & Skills Must-Have 1-4 years of experience in market research, business intelligence, consulting, or financial analysis. Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data. Proficiency in research tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, PitchBook, Capital IQ, CB Insights, or similar platforms. Familiarity with global business trends, outsourcing, and GCC strategies. Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise, actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience in tracking M&A activities, cost-cutting trends, and PE/VC-backed firms. Knowledge of shared services, outsourcing, or global talent strategies. Previous experience in consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills to create compelling research reports and briefs. Why Join Us?
