Analyst/Senior Analyst Legal & Compliance (EPC & Regulatory Lawyer)

As a talented lawyer joining DESRI India Private Limited in Hyderabad, India, you will be an integral part of the Legal & Compliance team. Your primary responsibility will involve working on energy and infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) filings. This dynamic role will require regular interaction with U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. You will collaborate with deal teams, asset managers, EPC contractors, and other attorneys across various DESRI offices to support energy regulatory filing and reporting obligations. Your role will also include providing education and training on legal policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with construction and environmental laws affecting energy projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work on energy and infrastructure projects from construction to commercial operation - Focus on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) filings - Collaborate with deal teams, asset managers, EPC contractors, and attorneys across various DESRI offices - Support energy regulatory filing and reporting obligations - Provide education and training on legal policies and procedures - Ensure compliance with construction and environmental laws affecting energy projects **Qualifications:** - Hold a Bachelors degree in law with a proven record of academic achievement - Have 2-3 years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing EPC contracts, energy regulatory law, and regulatory filings in the infrastructure industry - Possess analytical abilities, communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail - Demonstrate a deep interest in exploring and learning new areas of the law - Exhibit judgement, initiative, and collaboration skills - Experience with a law firm, or familiarity with autonomous power producers (IPPs), utilities, or energy developers - Experience in the renewable energy sector Join DESRI India Private Limited in Hyderabad and be part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail in supporting renewable energy projects.,
