Overview Of The Role
The Systems Risk & Controls team is part of the Global Finance Technology, BI & Innovation Department working with the various Finance Technology teams, as well as the Internal Controls and Cyber Risk departments to support adherence to the Flutter governance framework and SOX controls. Operating between the first and second lines of defence to facilitate a strong controls environment across the Finance Technology tech stack, we lead IT controls implementation, assurance, remediation and transformation.Within The Team There Are Four Separate Workstreams To Ultimately Facilitate Ongoing Controls Adherence To SOX Standards, Along With Other Standards Such As ISO27001. Namelysupporting the Finance Tech teams through audit,enabling a controls assurance function for the teams,implementing governance standards and driving deficiency remediations, andleading IT controls transformation projects.In this role the successful candidate will be working with the Finance Systems teams to support them with activities around controls assurance and control reviews, as well as supporting with IT audit related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Finance Technical teams with control evidence generation and controls adherence.
- Controls assurance for Finance Systems through routine system reviews.
- Supporting Senior Analysts with evidence generation and preparation activities through audit periods.
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Organized and have the ability to prioritize: there will be a lot of moving pieces of work due to the systems in scope.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Ability to build positive working relationships within the business.
- 2+ years Internal Controls or IT audit experience with knowledge of SOX controls.
- Understanding of IT General Computing Controls (ITGCs) including proper design and implementation, monitoring, and reporting any assurance issues is a must.
