Analyst Quality Control

As an Analyst Quality Control at this company, your role involves taking responsibility for client service and operational execution tasks. You are expected to control risks and enhance controls in accordance with rules and regulations. To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in: - Performing KYC checks for onboarding and periodic reviews (CDD/EDD). - Reviewing and resolving AML alerts, identifying suspicious activities, and escalating cases. - Conducting screening for sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media. - Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring regulatory compliance. - Supporting audits, reporting, and remediation activities. Desirable skills sets include: - Any AML stream related experience, preferably CDD (Client Onboarding). - Interacting with Front office and RM teams via Phone daily. - Flexibility for any shifts. - Working on all Risk types and individually able to classify risks of both individual and entity client types. - Proficiency in spoken and written English. The position is based in Pune. **Purpose of the Role:** Your main responsibility will be to assess the quality of business processes and execution, and to develop initiatives to improve quality standards. **Accountabilities:** - Identify areas for improvement within operations and provide recommendations for change. - Develop and implement quality control procedures and controls to mitigate risks. - Collaborate with teams to develop quality improvement guidelines, objectives, and action plans. - Develop reports on quality control performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders. - Monitor customer-facing colleagues performance and evaluate their performance through reviews and quality reporting. - Execute quality audits of the banks processes and operations. - Identify industry trends to implement best practices in quality assurance services. - Participate in projects and initiatives to improve quality control efficiency. **Analyst Expectations:** - Meet the needs of stakeholders/customers through specialist advice and support. - Perform activities in a timely manner and to a high standard. - Likely have responsibility for specific processes within a team. - Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating resources. - Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to. - Continually build an understanding of how all teams in the area contribute to broader objectives. - Develop awareness of underlying principles and concepts related to the area of responsibility. - Make judgments based on practice and experience. - Communicate sensitive information to customers pertaining to customer advice or administrative requirements. - Build relationships with stakeholders/customers to identify and address their needs.
