Job Title:- Analyst - IT Security Architecture Location:- Bangalore Job Summary:- The IT Analyst, Security Architecture plays a critical role in supporting the design, development, and implementation of secure IT systems and environments. This role involves assisting in the creation of security roadmaps, evaluating IT projects for security requirements, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices. The IT Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to address security challenges and enhance the organizations overall security posture. Key Job Responsibilities:- Security Architecture Support: Assist in planning, researching, and designing security architectures for IT systems, including network, cloud, and on-premises environments. Support the development and implementation of security solutions aligned with organizational roadmaps. Security Standards and Compliance: Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of technical security standards for IT systems, including operational technology (OT), cloud environments, and firewall rule analysis. Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks, regulations, and best practices. IT Project Collaboration: Evaluate IT projects to identify and implement security requirements. Collaborate with project teams to integrate security controls into system designs and deployments. Incident Response and Improvement: Analyze lessons learned from security incidents and recommend enhancements to improve security architecture. Assist in the development of processes to mitigate future risks. Vendor and Partner Assessments: Participate in the assessment of third-party vendors and partners, reviewing SOC2 or equivalent certifications to identify potential security gaps. Continuous Learning and Development: Stay up to date with the latest security technologies, standards, and trends. Provide recommendations for adopting emerging technologies to strengthen the organization s security posture. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of security architecture designs, standards, and implementations. Generate reports on security performance, risks, and compliance for stakeholders. Education/Work Experience Skills:- Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM are a plus. Experience: 4-6 years of experience in IT security or a related IT field. Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS). Skills: Familiarity with security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Able to communicate clearly and effectively, especially in one-on-one or small group settings, with the ability to explain basic security concepts. Works well as part of a team, contributing positively and helping achieve shared goals while learning from others.
