THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN BANGALORE THE ROLE Responsibilities You will be an integral part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at MPOWER. You will partner with our department heads in planning all aspects of our business, preparing regular reporting and analysis, and understanding trends in our rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses strong organizational skills, and is extremely detail oriented. Your work will have a direct and visible impact on company results. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assisting in the creation and monitoring of the annual operating plan, including coordinating inputs from business managers Collaborating across function areas (Payroll, HR, Marketing, Analytics, Credit, Strategy) for all expense and revenue P&L line items and the related balance sheet account activities Reviewing and validating the integrity and reliability of monthly financial inputs at regular intervals to ensure spending isin line with expectations Developing company forecasts based on the strategy and marketing plans and business assumptions, as well as reporting of actuals against forecast, variance analysis, and tracking movements Developing and managing sophisticated financial models that assist the finance and leadership teams in decision making Driving continuous improvement of the FP&A organization to allow faster response and a deeper level of analysis by building robust processes and implementing business intelligence and planning tools The Qualifications Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or another quantitative field Professional qualification preferred (CA, CPA, CFA, CMA, CA Inter). 4+ years of experience within the Finance function of a fast-paced, tech-driven company or with relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate finance. Knowledge of financial and accounting best practices, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proven ability to execute and drive results with cross-functional teams Expert experience with Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce CRM experience preferred Superior verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfortable working with a global team across multiple-time zones and sites! In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload and tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
