About The Team You’ll be joining a high-impact privacy and data governance team consisting of analysts who work collaboratively to uphold the companys data privacy stands and support compliance with regulations. The team is responsible for managing data subject request (DSR) fulfillment, researching complex data transactions, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing. You will be supported by a lead anaylsts located within the Bangalore office, along with a manager in the United States office. Working within this team, you'll have the opportunity to engage with legal, compliance, and technical stakeholders across the organization—including a close partnership with our legal team in India—to deliver results that directly impact regulatory compliance and data governance efforts at an enterprise scale. Job Summary We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Privacy Data Analyst to join our global Privacy & Data Governance team. This role is critical in supporting the company’s compliance with global privacy regulations, including data subject request (DSR) fulfillment, internal investigations, and broader data privacy initiatives. As a Privacy Data Analyst, you will act as a cross-functional liaison, working closely with legal, compliance, and operational teams. You will be responsible for facilitating and influencing the completion of data deletion tasks, aggregating system data, and providing in-depth analytics to support legal and compliance inquiries. Roles & Responsibilities Core Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for data subject request (DSR) processing, including deletion and access requests, ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy laws. Collaborate across multiple internal teams to influence timely execution of data deletion and remediation tasks. Access and navigate internal systems to extract, aggregate, and analyze personal data related to DSRs or legal investigations. Perform complex data analysis and generate reports to support legal, privacy, and compliance reviews. Conduct detailed research on transactional records, digital footprints, and data flows to trace personal data usage. Partner with the India-based legal and privacy team to serve as the primary business liaison and facilitate ongoing communication and coordination. Document standard operating procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives within the privacy operations framework. Maintain strong knowledge of company systems, data flows, and privacy best practices.
